The name “Alabe” is of Catalan origin and means seagull. The beach of Porto Alabe is the beach of the marina of Tresnuraghes. The beach is edged by cliffs or volcanic hills marked by steps that descend gently down the coast. The seabed is shallow and ideal for bathing. Inlaid between the promontories are small coves and small beaches, often of fine pink sand. Along the thing high stacks, above which the Aragonese built a coastal defensive system composed of the seventeenth-century tower called Torre Foghe, near the mouth of the riu Mannu, from which you can enjoy a splendid panorama.

A parking area and refreshment points close to the beach.
